Have you ever sent the TV ads proclaiming you support terrorism when you buy street drugs? No doubt that is true. If you buy heroin today you are very likely giving Alchida and the Taliban your money.
As far as the drug wars why have them. It is a total waste of our money but a much embedded aspect of our Corpocracy. I think we all know we can get almost any drug we want at any time. How do you feel about the energy price game? Do you think the price is manipulated to gouge consumers? Personally I think they are totally controlled as well as manipulated and by two different forces.
I believe the industry itself can and at times does have an effect on prices but at times prices are manipulated even more by speculators. The recent drive in price was in large part do to Wall Street speculators. They get the market rolling upwards and wait for smaller investors to buy into the rapid rise in price. Speculators then grab their bag of money and are gone. Of course the little guy wonders what happened.
