America Destroyed by Corpocracy
Back in the beginning bush got into office thanks to a right wing republican Supreme Court along with his brother Jeb and other FL right wing conspirators. To top off the corpopratic theft of government bush got a republican’t Congress to rubber stamp his ill-fated policies. None the less the majority of people voted for Gore and Gore did win Florida. Not only do we get totally screwed for 8 years, we did not even elect the asshole who screwed us!
Come on!!!! ……… WAKE UP AMERICA!
Gore won but bush boy got appointed do to the power of the republican Corpocracy. Big corporate money put bush in office. Now we have Enron types running the show and look at the mess they made of our great nation.
Do to the huge oil and gas industry and health care / prescription drug industry contributions bush boy used back door tactics to get into office while lying all through the primaries and general election campaigns. I think now many of the religious right wing zealots are seeing and living the misery they created backing bush…. the worst President in history.
Unfortunately you and I paid the price of a corrupt miss guided Presidency. To be honest I was shocked to see so many backing bush for a second term. It rally gave me cause to wonder what the hell kind of people I live amongst. After all, if you could not detect the lies after the first four years your head must be buried up your ass or something. I just don’t get it. How the hell did he get 4 more years?
I think religious political matters need to be back in the hands of the states so the issues do not cloud the most important issues of our time and that is foreign policy. Far too many are elected to national office based on their views on abortion, gay rights, stem cell research, etc. We need to give the power to the sates to make these decisions and if over 50% of the states ratify an issue then it should be raised to federal law. The Feds need to stay focused on foreign policy and homeland security first and foremost not all the other matters that life in America does not depend on.
The damage the Republicans did is long term. It will take years to fix. The sooner the Democrats start fixing the mess the better off we are. Many nations are at odds with us at a time we need all the support we can get in the world. Without wide support fighting terrorism is a lost cause and they will get us right here at home for decades to come. We can change that by changing the direction of our country starting with the next Congress. We Democrats need to get our Republican friends and family to see the reality of the mess our nation is in. Teach them to focus their vote on matters of state not matters of religion and special interest.
To help the cause get active with local Democratic organizations. Donate some time to the cause of turning our nation around and onto a course of leadership not ‘big bat’ ‘bad boy’ foreign policy which as we now know does not work. Nor do lies from our leaders.
Please donate money to Democratic Party locally and nationally. The Republicant’s have big corporate money behind them. Democrats need money from 'we the people' in order to take control and stamp out some of the Corpocracy that six year of piss poor leadership have brought upon the people.
